A selection of the last few months of pictures is up on my site. The gallery is still a work in progress. All the pictures were rearranged into folders based on geographic or administrative boundaries, i.e., world region, country, state, city (or area) and also renamed with a shorter identifier.

You can finally see the latter pictures from Australia, especially Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory (I can't remember if these had been uploaded previously), Malaysia, and my second visit to India.

For India, the new pictures are from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka. I'm currently taking lots of pictures in Hampi.

Someday the pictures will actually be integrated with my blog posts and not just sitting on their own, the albums will have their proper highlight images reset, and pictures that went missing during uploading or wandered into the wrong folders will be set right. It helps that I finally got the gallery paths to work. There may also, someday, be more metadata attached to the pictures, like titles and descriptions. I also plan to make a virtual album with a selection of my better pictures once I figure out a good way to do this with the gallery software. There are around 8000 travel photos from this trip on my site but maybe 1/10 of those deserve a two-star rating (and of these 1/10 deserve a 3-star rating), which should make for a more fun album to browse, kind of a highlights of my travels.
